Take care of your Bussiness. It's the only place you have to safe.
Termites, often incorrectly referred to as ‘white ants’, have been on this earth for more than 250 million years, long
before humans. They are not ants at all, in fact they are more closely related to cockroaches! They play an important role
in nature – they break down dead or dry wood. There are more than 200 species found in India, of which two are of
economic importance - Subterranean and Drywood (or wood-nesting) termites, of which subterranean termites are
responsible for most of the damage. As their name suggests, these termites live below the soil in well-organised colonies
that are made up of reproductives (king and queen), workers and soldiers. They can digest anything containing
cellulose, such as wood, paper or natural fabric. Once a food source has been detected, workers construct mud tubes to
it and from then on, the march is relentless. They stop at nothing and a gap of just 0.5mm is enough for them to gain
entry. In their search for food they can even damage materials such as plastic, synthetic rubber and neoprene.
Termite damage worldwide runs into Crores of Rupees every year. Ref Mentioned above.
In most cases, the infestation goes undetected until it is too late. Therefore, the longer the delay, the more extensive and
expensive the damage will be. Preventive anti-termite treatment is essential for any premise - whether it is an existing
structure, or under construction or renovation.
So, Termite control treatment is most necessary to safe our things and keep our life in piece.
Termites - Why the concern?
There are many species of structural infesting termites and each one has developed effective ways to get at and
attack the wood or any semi soft cellulose material in your home.
Termites live in colonies which are usually underground, although sometimes they can be within your home itself.
The "worker" termite forages outside of the colony for food. It consumes the wood creating "galleries" and then
returns to feed the rest of the colony. Tell-tale signs of termites include mud (or shelter) tubes on foundation
walls, termite swarms and of course infested wood members. We at matrix India pest control are trained and
licensed professionals who know termites and the newer products available for eliminating and/or preventing their
attack.
These tubes can go up the foundation wall, along plumbing, or directly from the soil to move entire building.
Termites work the day shift, the night shift, Weekends and holidays.
Queen termites laying eggs 30,000 per day x 365 days = 1, 09, 50,000 eggs /year

These specifications have been formulated for all types of structures with R.C.C foundation or load bearing wall foundations. The principle of the treatment is to create chemical barrier below and around the entire building so as to deny entry to termites and killed the existing termites into the building |

Mode of treatment
|
Stage 1: Treatment to wall and floor junction :
Holes of 12mm dia 30cms apart will be drilled along the inner of wall and floor in the entire ground floor premises. Chemical emulsion will be injected under pressure into these holes, to create a barrier against termites. Stage 2: Treatment to soil under floor:If the cracks are noticed on the floor because of construction joints, expansion joints, or shrinkage, the soil below floor needs to be treated. Holes of 12mm dia 30cms apart will be drilled along the cracks only and chemical emulsion will be injected. Surface treatment of soil based like lawn entire area treated, if necessary. Stage3: Treatment to wooden fixtures:Holes of 12mm dia will be drilled at the base of wooden members such as window frames, door Frames inset in the flooring and chemical emulsion will be injected. Stage 4: Treatment to termite Tubes:Visible shelter mud tubes will be removed and infested area treated with our chemical emulsion. Stage 5: Treatment to connecting boxes:Treatment to Junction box panels, any other pipe or cable ducks slabs connected with your building to be removed * and inner side of the portion treated with our chemical emulsion, if necessary. Stage 6: Treatment along the external perimeter of the Building:Treatment the soil adjacent to the plinth wall outside the building with toxicant by means of trenching, drilling or rodding as feasible Stage 7: Holes sealing:All the drilled holes will be sealed and made good using cement, putty (lambi) may be used in godowns, warehouses, etc. |
